The MTPL compromise was found

The MTPL system operates in the republic since July last year, at the level of secondary legislation. All this time the Supreme Council deputies worked on it giving legal status. After several committee meetings and workshops, participation in which were involved representatives of insurance companies, the president and the government, the law-in draft was recommended for adoption in the second reading.

During the discussion of the law-in-draft in its preparations for the second reading, the discussion caused the greatest amount of the charter capital of insurance companies. The deputies proposed a sum of 1 million minimum wage, the amendments proposed by the president, appears the figure of 350 MW, while insurers themselves considered acceptable amount from 500 to 800 thousand MW. A compromise solution was found on this issue -750,000 RU MW. 

If the law-in-draft will take all further necessary for the adoption procedure, the MTPL on a legal level in the republic will take effect from January next year.

Deputies of the profile committee considered the request for the interpretation of the norms of the Land Code, directed by Vice-Speaker Alexander Shcherba. People's deputies are interested it is possible by-laws to deprive rural Soviets of People's Deputies of the right to grant or withdraw the land. According to the Deputies, his request came after numerous complaints of villagers facing difficulties and confusion in such situations.
