Operational work

Today a meeting of the Committee on Security, Defense and Peacekeeping chaired by Andrey Sipchenko was held in the Plenary Hall of the Supreme Council.

Legislators considered amendments to the second reading to the law "On status of servicemen", initiated by the President.

The purpose of the law-in-draft is to enshrine at the legislative level the grounds and procedure to bring servicemen and citizens called for military training to disciplinary, administrative, criminal, financial and civil liability, as well as provisions are regulated in detail on the application of measures to servicemen the restraint of violations of military discipline or public order and the disciplinary responsibility.

Members of the Committee recommended the deputies to adopt it in the second reading after the proposed amendments discussion.

Legislators also proposed to adopt the law "On amendments and addendum to the Law of PMR "On immovable objects of cultural heritage".

In addition, the members of the relevant committee considered and supported the initiatives of their colleagues, members of parliament Sergei Cheban - "On Amendments to the Law of PMR "On State Pensions in the Pridnestrovian Moldavian Republic", and Galina Antyufeeva - "On amendments to the Code on Marriage and the Family in Pridnestrovian Moldavian Republic".
