Oleg Vasilaty, "Openness of taken decisions beneficial to all"

Deputies of the Tiraspol City Council were the initiators of the amendments to the Law "On local government and public administration in Pridnestrovie". The essence of their proposal is to legally enforceable right of local Councils to participate in the work of the commissions set up at public administrations. Legislators supported this initiative. The relevant law was adopted and sent for signature to the President. Members of the relevant committee, according to its director Oleg Vasilatiya, discouraged by no less than the reasoning of the author of the veto by return Document for reconsideration. His spokesman said about the alleged violation of the principle of separation of powers and interference in the work of some others.

Leaders of local Councils who participated in the discussion of this question presented specific examples when the deputies involved in the work of various commissions created state administrations, gave positive results. Members of the state regional policy committee decided unanimously to recommend to colleagues at the deputies to overcome the veto.

The Proposal of Deputies Vadim Krasnoselsky and Gregory Dyachenko to prescribe by law the mechanism for election and powers of the persons, which in common is called "the house senior" or "house manager" was supported. It may be applied to many familiar concept of "Chairman of the House Committee" (it is a question of the second reading). The possibility of providing benefits to them to pay for a number of housing and communal services is discussed. This aspect is reflected in the suggested regulations. Deputies both of the supreme and local soviets have no doubts  that we need preferences.

The initiative was recommended for adoption in the first reading.
