To issue a document in any Civil Registry Office

Changes in the norms of the law "On Civil Status Acts" became the subject of discussion among deputies during the meeting of the Committee on Legislation, Law Enforcement, Defense, Security, Peacekeeping, Protection of Citizens' Rights and Freedoms. The parliamentarians proposed an amendment, the purpose of which is to simplify the procedure for citizens obtaining documents issued by registry offices. As the chairman of the profile committee Galina Antyufeeva noted, the current legislation obliges citizens to receive birth certificates, marriage certificates and other civil status certificates in the registry offices at the place of registration, but this is not always possible.

The responsible committee considers this amendment as relevant. The proposal of the legislators will be submitted to the consideration of the deputy corps in the framework of the law-in-draft on amending the law "On Civil Status Acts".
