Meeting of the Committee on Agro-Industrial Complex, Industry, Transport, Construction and Natural Resources was held. The deputies discussed a number of legislations that will be submitted to the next plenary sessions.
One of the issues that the Committee prepared for adoption in the first reading, provides for amendments to the law "On Compulsory Insurance of Civil Liability of Vehicle Owners". The initiative was submitted by the PMR Prosecutor's Office for consideration by the Supreme Council of the PMR. We are talking about the need to establish the obligation of the insurer to report in writing about the refusal of the insurance payment to the injured party with a reasoned justification for the reasons for the refusal within a period of not more than five working days. The author of the legislative initiative notes, that similar norms exist in Russian legislation. Changes to the Pridnestrovian law "On Compulsory Insurance of Civil Liability of Vehicle Owners" will in the opinion of the Prosecutor of the Republic allow injured persons to protect their rights and legitimate interests in a timely manner in the manner prescribed by law.
