About the work of the Government in 2021

Комитет по экономической политике, бюджету и финансам

27.06.2022

The Supreme Council will hear the report of the Government on the work for the past year. The deputies of the Supreme Council got acquainted with the information, including the answers to the questions sent earlier during the plenary session on Wednesday, on the 29th of June.

The Committee on Economic Policy, Budget and Finance considered the draft resolution of the Supreme Council on hearing the report today. The information provided by the Government affects the work of the executive authority in the economic and social spheres, contains information on the main measures taken in the economic sphere, on the execution of the republican and local budgets, and on other areas of activity.

Parliamentarians intend to ask questions of interest, in particular, those of concern to their voters. For example, Deputy Chairman of the Committee Vadim Kravchuk raised the topic of providing benefits to pensioners living alone in the course of the meeting of the Committee today.

The Deputy Prime Minister noted that the decision on the application of benefits is made by the local Councils of People's Deputies. The deputies considered the fact of non-provision of social guarantees unfair. Representatives of the Supreme Council and the Government agreed on the need to consider the issue of benefits at the level of legislation, and not decisions of local Councils, fixing this moment at the legislative level.

The report on the activities of the executive authority on June 29 at the plenary session will be presented to the deputies by the Head of the Government Alexander Rosenberg. The deputies will ask questions raised by voters in the constituencies and express their opinion on the work of the Government for 2021.
