On the Census, Strategic State and Municipal Organizations and Sizes of One-Time Allowance

Members of the Committee on Economic Policy continued to discuss amendments to the law "On republican budget for 2015 and the planning period of 2016 and 2017" in the second reading. In particular, it was about the size of one-time allowances paid to prosecutors and judges.

Subject of discussion of legislators, representatives of relevant ministries and departments was a law-in- draft "On the strategic state and municipal organizations". The author of the initiative – is the Deputy Anatoly Dirun. The purpose of the law-in- draft is to define in law the concept of strategic state and municipal organizations, approval of an exhaustive list of objects owned by the state, as well as the consolidation of the rule of the law of non-privatization of enterprises of strategic importance to the economy of Pridnestrovie.

Within the frame of the agenda of the meeting of parliament were considered amendments to the law "On Population Census in Pridnestrovie". In accordance with applicable regulations the census should be conducted at least once every ten (10) years. Conducting of another one was planned for 2014. However, due to lack of funds (and for these purposes must be allocated approximately 16.5 million), it did not take place. In this regard, lawmakers considered it appropriate to postpone the holding of the event at a later date.
