Deputies of the Supreme Council Oleg Leontiev, Igor Yarych, Oleg Bayev and Sergei Pisarenko proposed to establish later terms for payment of land and fixed agricultural taxes. Changes to the relevant laws were considered during the meeting of the profile parliamentary committee. According to the legislations, agrarians are encouraged to pay taxes on a monthly basis until the 20th day of the next month in the amount of one third of the amount of tax determined for each quarter. The developers suggested changing the volumes of quarterly payments: I quarter - 10 percent; II quarter - 10 percent; III quarter - 10 percent; IV quarter - 70 percent. Thus, most of the payments will be at the end of the year.

In the opinion of parliamentarians, this will allow agricultural producers, on the one hand, to minimize the circulating assets during the year, and on the other hand, to realize the grown products at more favorable prices, which will positively affect the economy of the state as a whole. The law-in-draft was supported by the deputies of the Committee and recommended for adoption in the first reading.

Legislative initiative of the government called for improve the law "On Road Safety". As explained by the representative of the Ministry of Internal Affairs Rodion Chebotar, the law unifies the conceptual apparatus, and a number of innovations are expected.

Deputies were interested in what caused the introduction of new subcategories of vehicles. According to the representative of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, these changes are similar to the international convention. The changes will not entail any re-certification for drivers who have already issued a driver's license of a particular sample. In addition, the law-in-draft provides for the possibility of preliminary replacement of driving permits upon application. It also establishes the term for the exchange of perpetual old-model driver licenses for new ones - before the beginning of 2019. Following the consideration of the deputies of the Committee recommended that the Supreme Council adopt the document in the first reading.

The amendment is made to the law "On Motor Third Party Liability". The government for the third time asks to postpone the start of the norm, according to which owners of foreign vehicles must also purchase Pridnestrovian insurance. As explained by the deputy chairman of the executive body Stanislav Kasap, the implementation of the norm requires the organization of an appropriate infrastructure on the border, but so far only 10 out of 55 checkpoints have representative offices of insurance companies.

The beginning of the norm is proposed to be moved from July 1 this year to January 1, 2019. The parliamentarians supported the law-in-draft and recommended it for adoption in two readings.
