It needs the State Protection

The Government submitted to the deputies of the committee on education, science and culture the law-in-draft "On a unified state register of immovable objects of cultural heritage of PMR". The proposed register is a list of objects that, according to the results of the state historical and cultural expertise, are recognized as immovable objects of cultural heritage, with brief information about each of them.

The current register was approved in 2002. The number of monuments in the republic has increased over the years. Therefore, the legislation in this part needs to be supplemented.

In the course of the meeting of the profile parliamentary committee, it was noted: the proposed register will serve as a legal base for further work on accounting, protection, restoration of historical and cultural monuments.

Deputies of the committee supported the law-in-draft in the first reading and will recommend it to the adoption by the deputy corps in the framework of the plenary session.
