Urgent Legislative Initiatives

Urgent legislative matters were discussed by members of the Parliamentary Committee on Economic Policy, Budget and Finance. They agreed with the proposal of the Head of State for another year to extend the rule of law, according to which JSC "Energocapital" was engaged in realization of electric power to Moldova that obliged to sell to the state in the face of the central bank authorized 100% of foreign exchange earnings.

According to established practice, the calculated level of the minimum wage (MW RU) established by the law on the national budget. Not always, for various reasons, it shall take effect from the beginning of the new fiscal year. So it was in 2013, so it will be in 2017. In this regard, as well as the need to finance the state treasury expenses, including socio-protected articles at the beginning of next year, the President of PMR considers it necessary to make changes to the existing legislation, which provide for the establishment of the the minimum wage in other legislation.

Members of the Committee supported the Law-in-draft off Peter Pasat and Anton Onufrienko aimed at supporting enterprises garment industry. We are talking about reducing the rate for work on tolling scheme to one, earlier it was 1.7. It is planned that such a rule will be valid for next year. If necessary, it will be extended.
