The Tax Control under Control of Legislation

Participants of the meeting of the Committee on development of small, medium-sized business and industry discussed a number of initiatives to regulate the procedure of tax control. The President proposes to exclude it from the provisions of the law "On the procedure of inspection in the implementation of state control (supervision)" and to assert further legal act of the Government. The President considers that the strict periodicity of scheduled inspections established at the legislative level, and the current list of grounds for initiating early control measures do not allow the tax authorities to exercise effective control. In case of referring the matter to the full management of the executive power, the government will be able to use additional tools, not looking at the view of third parties.

Another law-in-draft involving amendments to the law "On the Procedure for conducting inspections in the implementation of state control (supervision)". According to the group of deputies, in cases where the court finds the prescription illegal, it should be required for the state control authorities to reimburse the money spent on payment of court fees and costs of the proceedings. Despite the strong opposition of the official representative of the president, members of parliament supported the idea. The Committee will prepare a positive opinion on the initiative.
