Tax authorities will be able to file civil claims

The President developed a law-in-draft designed to give tax authorities the right to file civil claims for compensation for damage caused to the state in criminal cases on the fact of evading taxes, fees and other mandatory payments.

In addition, the law regulates the mechanism for recording the amount of damage in the enterprise's reporting. A measure of liability is agreed. It is stipulated that financial sanctions and administrative liability are not applied in case of termination of the criminal case in connection with voluntary reimbursement of the corresponding amounts to the budget.

Deputies of the Committee on Development of Entrepreneurship and Industry recommended adopting the law-in-draft, sent by the President in the regime of legislative necessity in the second reading.
