Mikhail Burla, “This is a part of the history of our state”

Members of the Committee on Education, Science and Culture prepared law-in-draft aimed at preserving the immovable objects of the cultural heritage of the republic for adoption in the second reading. We are talking about those objects that require urgent repairs. The corresponding state target program is designed for the years 2019-2021. Funds are planned to be allocated from the republican budget in the amount of over five million rubles. It is aimed at carrying out repair and restoration works and improvement of the territory adjacent to the immovable object.

As part of the program, attention will be paid to objects perpetuating the memory of those killed during the Great Patriotic War, the military events of 1992, as well as buildings associated with the life and work of prominent government and military figures. In addition, it is planned to create conditions for ensuring access of citizens to cultural values.

The draft state target program in the near future will consider the deputies. It is planned that the document will come into force on January 1, 2020.
