Special Loans for Disabled People

The meeting of the Parliamentary Committee on Social Policy, Health, Labor, Family and Childhood Issues opened the current working week in the legislature. One issue on the agenda is the second reading of the law-in-draft "On Making Addendum to the Law "On the Republican Budget for 2017". At the initiative of the deputy of the Supreme Council, Chairman of the Pridnestrovian Association of Internationalist Warriors Igor Buga, at the expense of disabled "Afghans", as well as those who participated in other local conflicts to protect the USSR beyond its borders, the list of recipients of soft loans will be expanded. The initiative of the colleague was supported, both by the deputies of the social policy committee, and by the Government representatives.

In the summer of this year, 3 million rubles were allocated from the government's reserve fund for lending members of the public organization of the disabled defenders of the PMR. The maximum loan amount is 70 thousand rubles. It is issued for five years at 4%. The loan amount varies depending on the age of the lender. Since the summer, 64 people have received loans. The total amount is almost 3 million rubles.

The parliamentarian Igor Buga proposed to extend this mechanism to disabled people who were injured during the defense of the USSR in other wars, armed conflicts, other military operations, as well as in local wars and armed conflicts in the territory of other states by amending the law "On the republican budget 2017".

It is not excluded that these rules on concessional loans for disabled people will be provided for in the draft budget-2018, which is expected in the Supreme Council.
