The President of the Pridnestrovian Moldavian Republic Vadim Krasnoselsky has repeatedly expressed the position that the heads of public authorities and administration should personally get acquainted with all incoming applications from citizens and organizations. Thus, the leadership will have information about the situation and problems in the subordinate sphere of public administration, the PMR President considers. The current legislation does not provide for the obligation of managers to personally get acquainted with all incoming applications. The Prosecutor of the Pridnestrovian Moldavian Republic proposed to supplement the law “On Appeals of Citizens and Legal Entities, as well as Public Associations”. Anatoly Guretsky sent law-in-draft developed on the basis of the instructions of the PMR President for consideration by the Supreme Council. The document was considered at an online meeting by deputies of the Legislation Committee.

According to the author of the law-in-draft, the heads of local self-government bodies should also personally get acquainted with the appeals. The law will spell out the requirements for the content of the notification of the applicant. It should contain information on which application the consideration period is extended or consideration is terminated.

The deputies of the Committee on Legislation recommend the law-in-draft of the PMR Prosecutor for adoption in the first reading. Amendments will be prepared for the second reading, taking into consideration the comments made by the deputies.

Additions to the law "On appeals of citizens and legal entities, as well as public associations" in the first reading will be considered by the deputies of the PMR Supreme Council at one of the plenary sessions.
