The National Security Concept

Deputies during the meeting of the Committee on Legislation, law enforcement, defense, security, peacekeeping, protection of the rights and freedoms of citizens discussed the president's proposal to suspend parliaments from approval of the National Security Concept. The author of the Initiative considers it appropriate to retain this power for only the President. Lawmakers insist that the document of state value as before should  be approved by the Supreme Council.

Members of the parliamentary committee opposed the President's initiative, and will recommend to the plenary reject the proposed changes to the law "On safety".
