The Committee on Legislation considered profile issues

Meeting of the Committee on Legislation, Law Enforcement, Protection of the Rights and Freedoms of Citizens was held. The deputies discussed the relevant legislations received from the subjects of the right of legislative initiative. Amendments and additions to the current legislation were prepared by the parliamentarians of the profile committee. Initiatives were received from the President, the Government, the PMR Prosecutor.

The norms of the Constitutional Law “On the Status of Judges in the PMR”, the Law “On Investigative Activities in the PMR”, the Criminal Code and the Code of Administrative Offenses are being improved for example.

The legislations are aimed, in particular, at adjusting and clarifying certain concepts in accordance with the current legislation of the PMR, and are also prepared as part of harmonization with the Russian one.

The issues considered today in the course of the meeting of the Legislation Committee will be submitted to the next plenary meetings.
