Parliamentarians discussed in the course of the meeting of the Committee on Social Policy and Health a government initiative aimed at expanding the category of recipients of state subsidies for the purchase of housing. The list is proposed to be supplemented by nurses working in state and municipal special (correctional) educational organizations, as well as some employees of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the PMR: employees of the teaching staff, temporary detention facilities, escort units, guards on duty and separate (military) fire posts of the unit in charge of preventing emergency situations and disaster management. It is planned that the new measures will come into force on January 1, 2023. If the amendments are adopted, financing will be carried out within the limits laid down for 2023 and will not require additional costs from the state budget. Deputies of the profile committee recommended the law-in-draft for consideration in the course of the plenary session in the first reading.

The agenda of the committee includes amendments to the law-in-draft of the PMR “On approval of the state target program “Provision of housing for participants in hostilities to protect the Pridnestrovian Moldavian Republic for the period 2022-2031”. The profile committee deputies considered the proposal to add combatants in Afghanistan, as well as their widows, to the list of preferential categories for housing. According to preliminary calculations, the implementation of these measures will require additional funding from the state budget in the amount of more than 58 million rubles. After a long discussion, the deputies of the Committee recommended the law-in-draft for consideration at the plenary session in the second reading mode with amendments.
