Amendments to the agriculture and transport laws

The Committee on Agro-Industrial Complex and Transport held a meeting online today. Committee deputies reviewed and discussed several packages of bills and draft laws that amend legislation in the field of agriculture and transport.

The relevant Committee considered the initiative of the President of the Pridnestrovian Moldavian Republic to amend the state target program “Re-equipment of fire department service vehicles” for 2023 – 2031” and the law “On the republican budget for 2024” in particular.

Almost 7 million rubles (6 million 790 thousand rubles) were budgeted for the purchase of the AL-32 ladder truck, according to the text of the state program. The proposed changes will allow for the purchase of 3 fire tankers based on the all-wheel drive chassis of the KAMAZ 43114 truck for this amount. Such a vehicle allows the fire crew of 7 people to be delivered to the scene of an emergency or fire. The tank capacity is 5000 liters of water, and it can be used for external water intake if necessary.

The Committee on Agro-Industrial Complex and Transport submitted a package of legislations for adoption at the next plenary meeting in two readings at once (taking into account the tables of amendments from the Committee).

Deputies of the relevant Committee discussed the changes proposed by the Government to the state program for the development of the agro-industrial complex of the PMR for 2019-2026 in the first reading today.

It was noted at a meeting of the Committee on Agricultural Issues that the current law “On the Republican Budget for 2024” contains a single direction – subsidizing part of the costs for the purchase of pedigree dairy cattle – as indicated in the proposed legislative initiative.

Deputies of the Committee decided to submit this law-in-draft to plenary session for consideration and adoption in the first reading.
