A number of legislative initiatives prepared for the second reading were considered by the deputies in the course of the meeting of the Committee on Economic Policy, Budget and Finance. In particular, these are additions to the law on state measures to minimize the negative consequences of the energy crisis and the introduction of a state of emergency in the economy due to the lack or reduction of gas supplies to Pridnestrovie. The government proposes to extend the deadline for establishing regulated tariffs for services in the field of natural monopolies for 2026 until the 1st of August (the law on pricing sets a deadline of no later than June 1). A package of legislative initiatives has also been prepared for the second reading, which are designed to attract investment in the construction of solar power plants for the development of electricity production from renewable sources in the republic. These legislations are planned to be submitted for consideration to the Supreme Council of the Pridnestrovian Moldavian Republic at a plenary session in the near future.
The government presented to the deputies of the relevant Committee on Economic Policy in the first reading amendments to the law "On the budget system in the PMR" and to the law on the Central Bank.
