Deputies of the Committee for the Development of Entrepreneurship and Industry considered changes to the law-in-draft "On licensing of certain types of activities". The legislation was drafted by the government. Its main goal is to simplify the procedure for obtaining a license.
According to the current legislation, the license applicant must submit a large number of documents to the authorized authority: a certificate of registration, constituent documents. At the same time, the state authorities responsible for licensing issues have access to the Unified State Register of Legal Entities and Individual Entrepreneurs. The electronic database of the register contains information on state registration and the foundation.
Easing of some requirements does not affect foreign legal entities. Establishment of requirement to legalize the documents they submit, translation into Russian, as well as their notarization is proposed for them.
The law-in-draft is supported by the profile parliamentary committee in the first reading.
