Deputies of the Committee on Social Policy, Health, Labor, Family and Childhood Issues considered the amendment to the law “On licensing of certain types of activities” proposed by the Government. The law-in-draft was developed with the aim of state regulation of the activities of legal entities, including recruitment agencies that promote work abroad and provide employment services for Pridnestrovians outside the republic. According to the authors of the initiative, the reliability of information on possible earnings in other countries posted on the Internet and in print media today is not guaranteed. This may harm the rights and legitimate interests of citizens of the republic. As part of the discussion of the law-in-draft, deputies noted that voters often raise this problem. The adoption of the law-in-draft according to parliamentarians will provide an opportunity to protect citizens in the issue of employment abroad.
In addition, improvement of the norms of the law “On licensing of certain types of activities” will allow controlling the migration of labor resources in order to make further management decisions. The law-in-draft will be recommended by deputies of the relevant committee for adoption at a plenary meeting in two readings at once.
