For entrepreneurs to do their work

A working meeting was held in the Supreme Council. The initiative was initiated by the deputies of the Committee for the Development of Entrepreneurship and Industry. The theme of the meeting is payment of environmental payments by business entities. The current mechanism, according to legislators, needs to be improved. Deputies of the Committee Victor Guzun and Vadim Kravchuk developed amendments to the law "On Payments for Pollution of the Natural Environment and Use of Natural Resources".

Representatives of relevant ministries and departments, as well as entrepreneurs took part in the discussion of the law-in-draft. As noted during the meeting, businessmen who faced administrative barriers related to the settlement and payment of these payments have repeatedly addressed parliamentarians.

Representatives of the business community spoke about the need to liquidate this administrative barrier during the workshop.

Deputies are sure: it is necessary to simplify the work of entrepreneurs in this part as much as possible so that they can do business, not specific calculations. It is proposed to release a small business from the need to provide payments for environmental payments. Depending on the type of contamination (water, gas or garbage), the relevant utilities will be engaged in this. At the same time, legislators emphasize: payments will be made to the Environmental Fund. This payment for small entrepreneurs will be carried out simultaneously with the payment of utilities.

The discussion on this law-in-draft was intense and lengthy. As the head of the Committee for the Development of Entrepreneurship and Industry noted, the opinion expressed today by government representatives will be taken into account when working on the law-in-draft in the second reading.
