The safety of citizens is the highest consideration

President Vadim Krasnoselsky sent two legislative initiatives related to the organization of public services to the Supreme Council for consideration. The legislations were reviewed today by deputies of the Committee for the Development of Business and Industry. According to Deputy Prime Minister Aleksey Tsurcan, who presented the law-in-draft, the goal of the proposed norms is to unify the requirements for the provision of public services.

Since the beginning of the year, large-scale work has been carried out in the republic to improve the quality and availability of public services. In this part, the law "On the organization of the provision of public services". Amendments to the law were adopted by the Supreme Council on 4 July. Already, public services have become more accessible: anyone, being at home, can order the necessary information on the Internet at a convenient time. Ministries and departments will gradually join the project.

However, in the legal framework of the republic there is a law “On the licensing system in the sphere of economic activity”. Its individual rules are contrary to the above document. Therefore, the author considers it necessary to repeal the law “On the licensing system in the sphere of economic activity”. This, according to the author, will lead to a uniform understanding of legislation in the sphere of public services. The initiative is recommended by the Committee for adoption in two readings at once.

Among the supported by the deputies of the profile committee is another law-in-draft, sent by the President. As the presidential representative on this issue Radion Chebotar told, after a fire in the Russian city of Kemerovo, Vadim Krasnoselsky ordered to check compliance with safety requirements in crowded places and strengthen state control in the field of fire safety, civil defense, sanitary and epidemiological sphere. Checks are offered once a year.

Deputies of the profile committee supported the main goal of the law-in-draft. At the same time, lawmakers emphasized: it is necessary to specify the location of the inspections.

The law-in-draft is recommended for adoption in the first reading.

The deputies of the Committee discussed the law-in-draft “On the republican budget 2019”. Parliamentarians addressed exciting questions to the official representative. As a result of the discussion, amendments were formed, which will be sent to the Committee on Economic Policy, Budget and Finance. The proposals relate to the formation of the Fund to support entrepreneurship, as well as the increase in wages and pensions.
