The Government representative reported on the implementation of the state program to provide housing for orphans and children without parental care at a meeting of the Committee on Social Policy and Health. The relevant committee was presented with a report for 2019. The main objectives of the program are to form a specialized housing fund of the republic and provide housing for orphans.
60 apartments were bought for almost 7 million rubles in 2019, under the state program. Initially it was planned to purchase 68 residential premises for 8 million rubles. As a result, 16 apartments in Tiraspol and Bendery, 10 apartments in Slobodzeya district, 6 in Grigoriopol district, 3 apartments were bought in Dubossary district, 8 apartments in Rybnitsa district and 1 apartment in Kamenka.
As of January 1, 2019, 886 orphans needed their own housing in Pridnestrovie.
The Parliament will consider a report on the implementation of the State Target Program for the provision of housing for orphans and children without parental care at one of the plenary sessions.
The state target program for providing housing for orphans and children without parental care was developed by the Supreme Council and adopted in April 2017. The state program is valid from 2018 to 2027. The state should acquire 606 residential premises for orphans during 10 years. Financing - more than 60 million rubles for the entire period of the state program - is laid down in the republican budget.
