30 thousand pensioners will be able to receive additional payments to the pension

The deputies of the Committee considered sent by the President a package of legislations in the regime of legislative necessity. The legislations have been developed based on numerous appeals from citizens and aimed at material support of pensioners. It is proposed to pay monthly compensation to non-working citizens who receive a Pridnestrovian pension, the amount of which does not exceed the minimum pension size by age.

According to the head of the profile ministry, 30060 people, whose pension is less than 1232 rubles will receive monthly surcharges. The mechanism of payments will be prescribed in the basic law-in-draft "On monthly compensation for certain categories of PMR pensioners". Changes will also be made to the law "On the republican budget 2018", as well as to the law "On the budget of the Unified State Fund of Social Insurance for 2018".

The relevant parliamentary committee recommended the deputy corps to adopt a package of legislations in the first reading. According to the Chairman Sergei Cheban, it is necessary to support these citizens.
