Members of the Presidium of the Supreme Council traditionally on the eve of the plenary session discussed issues submitted to the consideration of the deputy corps. Among them there are three alternative drafts of the law "On Amendments to Law PMR "On the Basics of the Tax System in Pridnestrovie". Deputies of the Committee on Regional Policy Oleg Vasilatiy, Yakov Galak and Valentin Matveychuk, the Council of People's Deputies of Dubossary and Dubossary, as well as their Grigoriopol colleagues were the authors of the documents. Three documents have one goal. It is aimed at ensuring the implementation of constitutional guarantees for the functioning of local self-government on the principles of financial independence. The profile committee recommended taking drafted by parliamentarians law-in-draft as a basis. It provides for an integrated approach to resolving existing issues. As the head of the Committee on Regional Policy Oleg Vasilaty noted earlier, a lot of problems have accumulated in this sphere.
Law-in-draft "On drinking water supply" has been prepared for consideration in the second reading. The law-in-draft was submitted to the Supreme Council for consideration by the parliamentarian Vadim Krasnoselsky defines the obligation of the water supply organization or other organizations performing subscriber service to independently perform maintenance of water metering devices, including their replacement and verification. The profile committee recommended the deputy corps colleagues to adopt the law-in-draft in the second reading. Deputies believe that this initiative will remove a number of longstanding problems existing in this sphere. If the law-in-draft is adopted, people will no longer have to solve the problems of repair and verification of water meters independently, spending considerable time on this. Members of the Presidium consider it important to adopt this law-in-draft before the parliamentary holidays. They will begin in the middle of this month. The meeting of the republic's legislative body, scheduled for July 12, will finish the spring session.
Before this time, parliamentarians expect to meet with the government to discuss issues of interaction and socio-economic situation in the country. As Chairman of the Supreme Council Alexander Shcherba noted, such meetings should become regular and continue in the autumn session.
