The law-in-draft proposes to consolidate the norm, according to which a person recognized by the current legislation of labor veteran, is eligible to receive license and badge "Veteran of Labor". The initiative, presented by deputy Vadim Krasnoselsky, is the restoration of social justice in the recognition of the merits of the citizens who lost most of life working for the good of development and formation of the Soviet Union and PMR subsequently. To date, this is confirmed by a stamp in the pension certificate. In accordance with the Law "On social protection of veterans and people of retirement age" labor veterans are persons receiving labor pensions because of age or seniority and awarded orders and medals for distinguished service in the work of any award of honor of the USSR titles, MSSR and PMR for the difference in labor ; as well as persons receiving labor pensions because of age or seniority in the presence of work experience: female - 35 years, men - 40 years. 49,000 veterans of labor currently resides in the republic.
Profile Committee, having considered the previously adopted in the first reading the document, considers it necessary, particularly significant, and encourages the deputies, in spite of a negative opinion of the Head of State and the Government, to adopt it in the second and final reading and send to the president for signing and promulgation.
The Presidium of the Supreme Council, headed by the presiding Deputy Speaker Galina Antyufeeva decided to submit the law-in-draft at the plenary.
According to the decision of the Presidium of the Supreme Council the deputies submitted amendments to the Criminal Code of PMR, prepared as a legislative initiative of the deputies Vadim Krasnoselsky and Andrei Mejinschi. The purpose of the law-in-draft is to strengthen measures of responsibility of heads of state and municipal unitary enterprises, joint-stock companies for the improper performance of duties that resulted in significant damage to the legally protected interests of the state and society. The authors suggest, in particular, to complete the list of officials by heads of state and municipal unitary enterprises, joint-stock and other companies, more than 50% of shares (stakes) of which belongs to Pridnestrovian Moldavian Republic, or legal entity founded by PMR.
The document was developed as part of the harmonization of Pridnestrovian legislation with Russian.The document was adopted in the first reading in October this year, a table amendments was prepared for the second by the profile committee .
