The Questions remain

16.03.2016

Parliamentarians actively use the right to submit parliamentary inquiries as part of the control functions prescribed by the Supreme Council of the Constitution of the country. We should note remarks of the chairman of the parliamentary committee on mandates, regulations and deputy ethics Gregory Dyachenko, who, referring to the Speaker of Parliament, Vadim Krasnoselsky, said that so far the answers to the six deputy inquiries were not received before we talk about the discussion of responses to two parliamentary inquiries. At the same time the frames established by law (10 days) expired.

Andrei Safonov received reply from the President, concerning the progress of the negotiation process and the situation prevailing in the Foreign Ministry of the republic. It comes in response to the tactics and strategy of the negotiation process. The author of the inquiry expressed dissatisfaction with it after the Speaker read out the official response. Naturally, the people's representatives were questions on the content of the received response from the President. But there was no one to ask them. The official representative of the President of the Supreme Council Vladimir Bodnar, as well as the Foreign Ministry representative said that are not authorized to answer questions raised by deputies. So the dialogue has failed. In this regard, it was decided to invite the representative of the Foreign Ministry at the next plenary meeting or to the authority to respond to deputies' questions regarding the inquiry of the deputy Andrei Safonov, were obtained by the official representative of the President in the parliament, Vladimir Bodnar.

Questions of those who have taken part in the discussion of the answer to a deputy's inquiry legislators concerned the number of employees in the company, investors who invest in the modernization of the production lot of financial resources, as well as forms of state support of JSC "Rybnitsa cement plant". Speaking of the latter factor, the deputy Alexander Korshunov expressed concern about the fact that this year the government has not been extended by the agreement on state support for enterprises (last year he dispensed energy at reduced prices).

Following a discussion of the profile parliamentary committee on the development of business and industry it was instructed to prepare an appropriate draft resolution.

In addition, a resolution of the Supreme Council of the outcome of deputy's request about the situation at MMZ was adopted during the plenary session. Parliamentarians considered the answer to it at the previous session of Parliament, but the authors of the request of the deputy (Andrei Safonov and Vadim Kravchuk), he was not satisfied. Today, therefore, the deputies decided to ask the government for more information regarding the financial and economic activity of the enterprise on the basis of budget-2015 and the forecast of its revenues and expenses for the current year. In addition, the document stipulates the prosecutor's office to check compliance with the order established by the legislation of the time frame for response to the deputy inquiry of Andrei Safonov and Vadim Kravchuk, and if necessary take action of prosecutorial response.
