The Supreme Council adopted the state program "Textbook"

The "Textbook" state program will continue to operate in Pridnestrovie in the next five years. It will provide schools in the republic with textbooks in Moldavian and Ukrainian languages. For example, textbooks for primary grades on mathematics, the world around us, a textbook on the history of Pridnestrovie for grade 11 will be published for schools with the Moldovan language of instruction. Textbooks on biology and geometry will be translated from Russian.

Translations of Russian textbooks on biology from grades 5 to 9, translation from Russian of a textbook on the history of the PMR for grade 11 are envisaged for Ukrainian schools. Textbooks from 8 to 11 grades will be published for the study of the Moldovan and Ukrainian languages for Russian schools.

Kindergartens, special (correctional) educational organizations, professional institutions will also provide educational and methodological literature.

The teachers themselves say that a program to provide schools with textbooks is needed. For example, in the Moldovan school of the village of Korotnoe, Slobodzeya district, primary grades need a mathematics textbook. Training is conducted according to the textbook in Russian by the author Istomina. Director of the school in the village of Korotnoe Oksana Yurosh said that mathematics teachers have to work with a textbook by another author in Moldavian or independently translate a textbook according to Istomina's program.

The deputies adopted the draft textbook program for 2022–2026 in the second final reading. The document has been sent for signature to the head of state. Almost 5 million rubles in total are needed to implement the program.
