One of the first questions asked at the meeting by the deputies concerned the relationship between Pridnestrovie and the Republic of Moldova. They were interested in the foreign policy situation and the state of the negotiation process. Vadim Krasnoselsky noted that little has changed in the relations between Pridnestrovie and Moldova during 30 years. Today the negotiation process is in a depressing state. However, neighbors are not chosen, so there is no alternative to negotiations. And in this respect, the state is carrying out systematic work.
Most of the meeting was devoted to discussing how Pridnestrovie is coping with the pandemic. According to the President, all the authorities managed to consolidate in a short time and prevent the negative development of the scenario. The medical staff was promptly mobilized, hospitals were prepared. Today vaccination is underway in Pridnestrovie. According to the Ministry of Health, 9% of the population of the republic has already been vaccinated with the first component. This is 39 thousand people. Last year, the state spent 300 million rubles for the fight against the pandemic. Half of this money was directed to pay for medical workers, the other half for medicines, medical equipment and other related materials. According to the President, approximately 150-200 thousand people need to be vaccinated in order for a stable immunity to develop in Pridnestrovie.
Deputies of Dubossary and Dubossary district talked about the problems they face in their work, and asked Vadim Krasnoselsky to assist in resolving issues relevant to their voters. The problems of the poor condition of roads in villages, storm sewers, the need for capital repairs of rural dispensaries and houses of culture were often raised. Vadim Krasnoselsky noted that these issues should be coordinated with the Head of the state administration of the Dubossary region and the facilities should be included in the program of the Capital Investment Fund for the coming years.
The President focused on the results of the Capital Investment Fund program, which were achieved from 2018 to 2021. 728 million rubles in total were spent on the implementation of the program. 56 kindergartens, 62 schools, 21 social correctional institutions, 42 health care facilities, 16 sports facilities, 13 cultural facilities, 8 additional children's education facilities, 19 parks and squares, 52 sports children's playgrounds have been repaired in the republic during this time.
The President supported the proposal of the chairman of the Dubossary city district council Alexander Kolomytsev to create next year a state program for the repair of rural council buildings.
The Deputy of the Supreme Council for "Central" constituency No.11 Boris German raised the issue of the need to repair the Industrial College, which is located in his constituency. The technical school was under fire during the hostilities in the early 90s of the XX. Then the roofs were damaged. Since then, no repairs have been carried out. This led to the fact that now the roof is leaking over the educational building.
Vadim Krasnoselsky noted at the end of the meeting that he was a deputy of both the City Council and the Supreme Council, therefore he was familiar with such problems firsthand.
The President emphasized that there are many problems and shortcomings in life. But if there is consolidation and understanding, there will be result. Vadim Krasnoselsky assured that all the questions that were asked at this meeting will be worked out and decisions will be made.
The President, deputies of the Supreme Council and the local Council of Dubossary, representatives of the Government and the state administration after the meeting went to the facilities of the Capital Investment Fund under construction and got acquainted with the work progress on the spot.
