Vadim Krasnoselsky, "I am convinced that we are capable of solving the tasks"

Extended meeting of the President Vadim Krasnoselsky with the heads of state authorities and administration took place in the House of Official Receptions. The First President Igor Smirnov, Chairman of the Supreme Council Alexander Shcherba and members of the presidium of the republic’s legislative body took part in its work.

This is traditional work event for the beginning of the year, the purpose of which is to define benchmarks and set tasks for ministries and departments.

Anticipating the conversation on the main areas of work for the current year, the President presented the Order of Labor Glory to the Chairman of the Supreme Council Committee on Social Policy, Health, Labor, Family and Childhood. The legislator was awarded such a high state award for many years of hard work, high organizational skills and professional achievements.

Speaking about the tasks of state authorities and administration, Vadim Krasnoselsky noted that it is based on the implementation of the provisions of the Pridnestrovian Development Strategy for 2019-2026. The document approves the national idea and the three principles of development of Pridnestrovie: political stability, economic self-sufficiency and social justice. The implementation of each principle requires a number of tasks. They were put before the Supreme Council. In particular in the opinion of the President the law “On the basis of public control in Pridnestrovian Moldavian Republic” needs to be revised. The President aimed at more active and dense interaction with citizens of the republic.

Last year, the President considered more than 20 thousand applications of citizens and believes that each leader must consider applications and complaints personally in order to know what Pridnestrovians live and what they care about.

There is necessity to develop and adopt new laws to implement the tasks set in the sphere of law enforcement. We are talking about the laws "On Militia", "On the basics of crime prevention", etc.

According to the president, close attention should be paid to the international positioning of Pridnestrovie. The Ministry of Foreign Affairs is to develop an appropriate three-year program. The basic aspect of foreign policy activity remains the conduct of the negotiation process in the 5 + 2 format. A separate set of tasks is associated with the strengthening and development of business contacts with the Russian Federation in terms of expanding exports, attracting investments, and affordable lending. According to Vadim Krasnoselsky, a special regime is necessary for Pridnestrovian exports to resolve the current situation related to the Russian ban on the export of our products that have passed in transit from Ukraine.

The head of the republic outlined the main tasks in the sphere of fiscal, tax, tariff and monetary policy. It should be transparent and understandable for people, says Vadim Krasnoselsky. Legislators and the government have to finalize and adopt the concept of fiscal and tax policy for the medium term. It is also necessary to ensure the stability of the exchange rate.

Tasks are set in the sphere of agriculture. First of all, this is the adoption of the state target program “Development of the agro-industrial complex for 2019-2026”, lending to farmers, support for milk producers, development of ameliorative complex, prudent attitude to the land.

Equally important tasks are set for the construction sector. A large number of objects will be repaired and built in the republic in 2019; 34 in Tiraspol, 26 in Bendery. These are objects of health care, education, sports and cultural facilities, roads. It is also planned this year to build 600 apartments under the affordable housing program.

Vadim Krasnoselsky attaches great importance to the improvement and landscaping of settlements, the arrangement of congresses and ramps. In his opinion, the action “Buy Pridnestrovian!” should be continued, it is important to continue the development of public youth organizations and movements “The Heirs of Victories”, “Young Patriot of Pridnestrovie”. There are plans to hold 25 music, children's, patriotic and other festivals this year.

At the extended meeting, the president announced only the main tasks set for this year. After the plan for their implementation is approved, it will be sent to all authorities and public organizations.
