29.05.2018

During the traditional session of the Presidium of the Supreme Council, the leadership of the legislative body decided on the agenda of the next plenary sessions. They are scheduled for June 6 and 20.

Along with economic laws during the next plenary sessions, the deputies will consider a number of legislations of social, humanitarian, housing spheres. In particular, deputies Galina Antyufeeva, Ilona Tyuryaeva and Vitaly Kalin brought to the court of colleagues a law-in-draft aimed at strengthening the protective mechanisms for the preservation of marriages. In accordance with it, an additional staff unit of the psychologist will be introduced in the registrar offices, and the period for considering the application for dissolution of marriage is proposed to be increased from a month to three. The judicial authority will be given the right to determine the half-year period for reconciliation of the spouses.

Another law initiated by the government also deals with the sphere of interpersonal and family relations. It is about increasing the age threshold from 15 to 18 years, at which interruption of unwanted pregnancies in adolescents is possible with the obligatory informing of parents. Representatives of the government in connection with the proposal indicate alarming statistics: 80% of pregnancies in adolescence end with abortion, and almost half of them are done not for the first time.

The head of the responsible parliamentary committee, Sergei Cheban, believes that any restrictions can lead to an increase in maternal mortality, an increase in illegal abortions, suicide among adolescents. It is important in such a situation to strengthen preventive work, according to the people's deputy. Members of the profile committee, clearly undefined on the law-in-draft, took it to the consideration of the deputy corps.

The legislative initiative of Deputy Aleksandr Korshunov presupposes the expansion of the list of powers of subjects of financial monitoring. In accordance with the proposed norms, credit organizations (banks) will have the right to refuse to a physical or legal person in lending in case of suspected money laundering. The decision on the initiative of the deputies is to be taken during the plenary session.

The deputy corps is ready to consider the legislative initiative of parliamentarians Igor Buga, Andrei Safonov, Ruslan Gareev, Pavel Shinkaryuk. It is designed to protect citizens from information that includes calls for riots, carrying out extremist activities, participating in mass (public) events, conducted in violation of the established procedure, the dissemination of which occurs through the Internet. The authors of the law-in-draft propose the introduction of a pre-trial blockade of suspects in the distribution of extremist materials on the sites in the legal environment of Pridnestrovie. The initiative on the use of this mechanism will have to come from the PMR Prosecutor or his deputies who will apply to the State Communications Service, and the latter, in turn, to the provider in order to restrict access to information resources that distribute destructive information.

Members of the Pridnestrovian delegation, which included parliamentarians Victor Guzun and Mikhail Burla, returned from the northern capital of Russia, where they took part in the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum for three days. They informed the colleagues-deputies about the topics discussed in its course.
