The Supreme Council continued to work on improving the legislation in the sphere of land relations. Amendments were adopted to the law "On Land" at the plenary session in the first reading. Parliamentarians supported made by colleagues the initiative, equalizing pay land tax for land users, working in agriculture, regardless of the territorial land belonging.
It is proposed to lower and closer land tax rates for the land users whose lands are located within the boundaries of settlements, and are used in agriculture, to the level of rates of payment for land outside settlements.
The Supreme Council considered the initiative of the President Vadim Krasnoselsky for the extension period for the transition to land users, who want to pay a fixed agricultural tax this year in the regime of legislative emergency in two readings. According to the adopted amendment, this procedure will be able to implement agricultural farms until March 20 under the condition that at the time of the transition to a new kind of tax payment will have no debts to the state.
Continuing the review of land issues in the final reading the parliament adopted amendments to the Land Code. The law-in-draft was proposed by Deputy Anton Onufrienko and determines that the allocation and withdrawal of land within their territories will decide the local council of people's deputies. According to legislators, it will increase the rational use of land.
