It is planned to increase budget expenditures in certain areas, for the payment of additional payments to health care workers who are in contact with patients with coronavirus infection in particular. Additional 58 million rubles will be allocated for these purposes. Additional funds will be allocated to the republican budget for the costs of the healthcare industry associated with the implementation of a set of measures to combat the spread of coronavirus infection. In particular, funding limits will be increased for the purchase of medical and pharmaceutical products, the purchase of vaccines, the provision of medical uniforms and personal protective equipment, as well as catering in medical institutions. The amount of additional funds for these purposes will amount to 106 million rubles. The Supreme Council adopted the law-in-draft in the first reading.
The Government proposed revising a number of programs, including development programs that were originally planned for 2021, and cutting them back. The costs of paying the inter-tariff difference to enterprises of natural monopolies will be reduced. Less funds will be allocated through the Capital Investment Fund. Some objects had to be excluded from the Capital Investment Fund. However, as Viktor Guzun emphasized, this does not mean that the state is curtailing these programs and projects.
The deputy corps supported the changes to the budget of this year, proposed by the Government, and adopted the law-in-draft in the first reading. Work on the document will continue taking into account the comments and suggestions made during the discussion. The profile committee will prepare the law-in-draft for the second reading. The Parliament will consider it in the course of the plenary session on the 14th of July.
