Amendments to the law "On the republican budget for 2020" concerning the financing of agricultural sectors caused serious discussions. Initially, the concept of legislative initiative to reduce budget expenditures, which was proposed by the deputies, provided for the preservation of all previously adopted decisions to support the agro-industrial complex. This fully applies to the restoration of the land reclamation complex of the republic. It is necessary to revive the main drainage networks, as well as pumping stations in Slobodzeya and Grigoriopol districts.

Controversial issues related to the formation of fixed assets in livestock and horticultural farms arose in the process of discussing amendments to the budget. This year, our farmers have big plans for laying stone fruit orchards. The result of this work will be known only next year. Therefore, it is proposed not to use the limits for these purposes. As for the purchase of heifers, more than 300 heads have already been brought to the republic, and a new supply is expected in the near future.

The position of the Supreme Council on the development of the reclamation complex has not changed. The deputies insisted that the funds that have already been planned be directed to the industry in full. The head of the relevant committee emphasized that the restoration of land reclamation is also an additional consumption of electricity and not only with the reclamation complex. Some farms use electrically driven irrigation machines. We have enterprises in the republic that can produce pumping equipment. In addition, transmission network can be restored using polymer pipes. There is also such a production in Pridnestrovie.

The Supreme Council identified direct sources of funding for the agro-industrial complex development program. 7.1 million rubles are provided from the Capital Investment Fund. The remaining amount will be financed from the funds that should go to the reserve fund in the framework of privatization.
