Current work of the supervisory authority

23.10.2020

Today, a report on the implementation of the lending program from the State Reserve Fund for 2019 was presented at the Board of the Accounts Chamber. Representatives of the agro-industrial complex and small businesses received preferential loans according to the supervisory authority.

The state reserve fund was formed at the expense of the gratuitous aid of the Russian Federation, which came to the republic in 2008 and 2011. The goal is to stabilize the economic situation of economic entities of the agro-industrial complex, small business and the development of personal subsidiary plots. Assistance has been provided through the provision of technical loans and interest-free loans for 12 years. 191 representatives of the agro-industrial complex and small businesses received such support from 2008 to 2019. This is more than 1 billion 250 million rubles of the Russian Federation and 533 thousand euros. 5596 Pridnestrovians received over 56 million PMR rubles of a loan or an interest-free loan for the development of personal subsidiary plots. In addition, support was provided within the framework of the state program "Development and support of small business in the PMR". Interest-free loans or credits were received by 30 representatives of small businesses in the amount of almost 23.5 million rubles.

Deputies of the Supreme Council participate in the approval of applications for a loan. Parliamentarians are on the supervisory Board of the State Reserve Fund.

Another targeted program, adopted by the Supreme Council since 2018, is the Voter Orders Execution Fund. It was created to provide a targeted solution to problems in constituencies. Two years ago, 100 thousand rubles were allocated for each district. In 2019 and 2020 - 200 thousand each.

The transparency of the spending of public funds is controlled by the Accounts Chamber. This body carries out its work on the basis of legality, planning, objectivity, independence and transparency. It works closely with law enforcement agencies to identify and eliminate violations of the current legislation of the republic, to compensate for material damage caused to the state and to bring to justice those who violated the law.

Following the results of the control checks, information was heard today about the main violations of the law and the results of the post-control activities of the Accounts Chamber.

The Supreme Council Deputy Alexander Korshunov added that it was in the structure of the Supreme Council of the 1st convocation in 1991 that the State Control Committee was created, which became the prototype of the Accounts Chamber currently operating in the republic.
