Slobodzeya district: report for 2023

The past year results were summed up at the Slobodzeya State Administration. Vasily Tishchenko presented a detailed report to the PMR President Vadim Krasnoselsky. The expanded meeting was attended by the PMR Supreme Council Chairman Alexander Korshunov and parliamentarians from the constituency that are geographically located in the region, as well as the PMR Government Chairman Alexander Rosenberg.

The Slobodzeya district has exceeded budget revenue targets for the seventh year in a row despite the difficulties. The municipal treasury received 170.6 million rubles (103% of the plan) in 2023. Expenses – almost 276 million (97.7% of the target). 182.5 million rubles were allocated to finance socially protected items. There are more than 600 medium and small businesses operating in the region. 13 were created last year.

Slobodzeya district is traditionally considered agricultural. The region currently employs about 430 land users on 60 thousand hectares of arable land and 1807 hectares of perennial plantings. 20 livestock enterprises received subsidies for development. The total amount of payments is 2.76 million rubles.

As for the Capital Investment Fund program, repairs took place at 18 Slobodzeya facilities in 2023. The total amount of financing is 18.7 million rubles.

Deputies of the Supreme Council asked the head of the district several questions. Thus, parliamentarian Stepan Stepanov, who represents the interests of residents of constituency No. 22 “Sukleysky,” asked for assistance in solving the problem with which residents of the village of Karagash were addressing the deputy.

As the head of the district Vasily Tishchenko noted, the leadership of the Ministry of Healthcare was informed about this problem. The President Vadim Krasnoselsky proposed considering the possibility of sending a graduate of the Faculty of Medicine of Pridnestrovian Moldavian Republic to Karagash as an option to solve the shortage of qualified specialists.

Parliamentarian Oleg Vasilaty voiced a number of issues relevant to residents of his constituency, including the problem of stray dogs. This is a pressing issue for all settlements of the republic. The President considers it necessary to make changes to the legislation.

The deputy for constituency No. 20 “Pervomaisky” Oleg Vasilaty was interested in which methods of combating ragweed are more effective in the opinion of the district authorities: mowing the grass or treating with herbicides.

The President proposed another solution to this problem.

They talked in the course of the meeting about the improvement of leisure areas in different settlements and the organization of maintenance of public areas. They discussed issues related to road work and the system of financing it. They raised the topic of equipping kitchen blocks in educational institutions. Deputy of the Supreme Council for constituency No. 21 “Slobodzeya” Pavel Shinkaryuk recalled another problem in the area – providing schools and kindergartens with high-quality drinking water.

The deputy drew attention of the district head to the need to allocate a small room in the Russian part of Slobodzeya in order to open a reception room for a deputy of the Supreme Council there.

In general, deputies of the Supreme Council for the Slobodzeya region highly appreciated the work of the state administration and thanked the head for constant interaction.

At the end of the meeting, Vadim Krasnoselsky touched upon such topics as the provision of hot water to the district hospital and the creation of a republican palliative care center in the Slobodzeya district. There is an idea to place it on the basis of the Slobodzeya district hospital, but this issue still needs careful study and discussion with specialists.

The meeting participants highly appreciated the work of the state administration of the Slobodzeya district in general. The President recognized the performance of 2023 as satisfactory.
