The work of the Supreme Council during the spring-summer session was corrected by coronavirus. They are temporary in nature, while restrictive measures are in force, noted the Chairperson of the Committee on Legislation Galina Antyufeyeva. The Vice Speaker of the Parliament focused on the attention of journalists on improving the electoral legislation. A single voting day will be held in November this year. Pridnestrovians will elect representatives to parliament and local councils of people's deputies, heads of administrations of villages and townships. The Supreme Council will now be represented by 33 deputies. The parliamentarians approved a new scheme of electoral districts, which became larger in terms of coverage of residents.

Deputies adopted amendments to the Electoral Code at the plenary session today. By analogy with the legislation of the Russian Federation, the requirements for those wishing to run in elections have been tightened. Candidates for deputies of the Supreme and local Soviets, for the post of the chairman of the Council - the head of the village (settlement) administration and for other positions must not have a criminal record for committing grave and especially grave crimes.

Viktor Guzun, Chairman of the Committee for Development of Entrepreneurship, focused on the anti-crisis measures taken by the Supreme Council. Deputies began to develop measures to support citizens and enterprises, based on the budgetary possibilities with the introduction of a state of emergency in the republic in March this year.

The state allocated 23 million rubles to pay compensation to individual entrepreneurs. These are 22840 applications. The state helps legal entities forced to send workers to idle time - it pays 50% of salaries to employees. In addition, you can take an interest-free loan from the State Reserve Fund to pay salaries.

Deputy Chairman of the Committee for State Regional Policy Anton Onufrienko told reporters about the amendments to the Republic's Housing Code. The deputies of the Supreme Council defined the boundaries for dividing responsibility for the repair of heat, water, gas supply networks and power grids that run outside the perimeter of the house. The border of the division of responsibility will pass along the meter or along the border of the house. The Government will develop a simplified mechanism for transferring communications to the balance of natural monopoly enterprises. As for the debts on payment for utilities, due to the quarantine and, as a result, the decrease in the level of income of the population, Pridnestrovians who could not pay for electricity, gas, water and heat on time can pay off the debt by the end of the year. This support measure is spelled out in the anti-crisis law. The Parliament plans to return to the solution of the issue with persistent defaulters later. The amount of debt for utility bills in Pridnestrovie reaches 150 million rubles.

The work of the Committee on Public Associations and Information Policy was aimed in the spring-summer session at strengthening criminal liability for encouraging children and adolescents to commit suicide.
