The next meeting of the presidium of the parliament took place not on Tuesday, as usual, but on Wednesday. The reason is a business trip of Speaker Alexander Scherba to Abkhazia. The Chairman of the Supreme Council led the Pridnestrovian delegation, which in Sukhumi took part in festive events on the occasion of the 25th anniversary of Victory and Independence Day. Upon returning - the layout of plans for legislative work in the near future. The next plenary sessions of the legislature are scheduled for October 10 and 24.
The government proposed amendments to the law "On fixed agricultural tax". The current legislation provides for two cases when taxpayers switch to the general tax regime from the beginning of the year following the reporting year. First, when in the reporting year, the proceeds from the sale of agricultural products of own production, will be less than 60% percent (from the new year - 80%) of the total revenue. The second is when, as of the last working day of the reporting year, there is a debt on taxes and fees to the budgets of various levels. The law-in-draft provides for the possibility for an agricultural producer to transfer to the generally accepted system of taxation in the event of withdrawal during the reporting year of all agricultural and non-agricultural lands that were subject to taxation.
Deputies of the relevant parliamentary committee Oleg Leontyev, Igor Yarych, Sergey Pisarenko and Ivan Nedelkov proposed the legislative initiative “On Amendments to the Land Code”. It regulates the legal aspects of the exchange of land. At the moment, this procedure is overly bureaucratic. The implementation of the proposed law-in-draft, according to its authors, will make it possible to more clearly define the procedure for carrying out the above process, which will have a positive effect for land users.
Deputies of the profile committee on social policy will propose amendments to the law “On state support of large families” to the court of colleagues. Lawmakers consider it necessary to clarify the concept of "having a large family" in relation to stepchildren and stepdaughters. Such families need to go through the adoption process in order to be eligible for social guarantees, including benefits for utilities: from 20 to 50%, depending on a number of children. Citizens' appeals are received by the state authorities with a request to minimize the number of certificates collected for this.
According to the deputy, the only document that will be a basis for the provision of social guarantees should be a certificate confirming the status of a large family.
