Chairman of the Supreme Council of the PMR Alexander Korshunov and Chairman of the Committee on Agroindustrial Complex, Industry, Transport, Construction and Natural Resources Oleg Leontiev took part in a working meeting of the President with the heads of state authorities and administration. They discussed the issues of the recent meeting with deputies of the city and district council, the Supreme Council and social activists.
So, one of the topics was the issue of providing rural residents with medicines. Residents of many villages complain about the lack of pharmacies. This topic was raised in the course of the meeting in the Grigoriopol region with the President on March 28. A small turnover makes this direction unprofitable and unattractive for commercial pharmaceutical companies as a result. So, the deputy of the Supreme Council for the constituency No. 8 "Southern" Vladimir Pelin was repeatedly asked for help in resolving this issue. Two proposals were made in the course of the meeting with the President to solve this problem: to organize pharmaceutical stations on the basis of local rural outpatient clinics or feldsher-obstetric stations with the involvement of employees of these medical institutions for the sale of medicines, or to free rural pharmacies from rent and utility bills. The proposals should be worked out in the Government by the end of this month.
Another topic that the Government will have to work on is the provision of educational institutions with employees of catering units. The PMR Minister of Education Svetlana Ivanishina spoke about the current standards. For example, if less than a hundred students eat at school, then a cook for half-time is provided, if from 651 to 1650 – two rates. Everything depends on the number of groups in kindergartens. 10-14 groups – one chef and two chefs, for each additional group plus 0.25 of the rate. The current norms in practice do not allow rationally distributing the workload on specialists. As a result, many educational institutions are left without kitchen workers.
They discussed in the course of the meeting the operation of roads by trucks, , making the roadway worthless. A loaded car weight limit of 12 tons was introduced as a preventive measure, but drivers often ignore the requirement, noted at the meeting. And the size of the fine for violation is small, only 182 rubles. Vadim Krasnoselsky considers that the size of the fine should be significantly increased. The Ministry of Internal Affairs will prepare the relevant legislative initiative. The President of the Pridnestrovian Moldavian Republic considers it expedient to extend the restriction related to the axle load of large-capacity vehicles to all roads of the republic - without reference to specific sections, and to enshrine this rule in law.
