The Supreme Council deputies adopted a number of legislations in the final reading at the plenary session. One of them concerns the protection of the rights of entrepreneurs. We are talking about the possibility to challenge the results of various checks. The parliamentarians at the suggestion of the business community clarified that entrepreneurs can send their comments or disagreement within five working days from the date of signing the inspection report. The law previously did not specify which days – calendar or working. The addition to the law "On the fundamentals of the tax system in the PMR" was adopted by the Supreme Council in the second final reading.
Parliamentarians specified in the law "On Employment" the conditions for recognizing as unemployed citizens engaged in entrepreneurial activities without forming a legal entity – if registration as an individual entrepreneur is recognized as invalid or if a person decides to stop his activity as an individual entrepreneur. The amendments were adopted in the second final reading.
The law “On local authorities, local self-government and state administration in the PMR” was amended in the second final reading. The amendments concern the issue of publishing annexes to legal acts in regional newspapers. If the decisions of local authorities were published on the official website, they must be published in the next issues of the district newspaper without fail. Annexes to legal acts may not be printed if a link to the official website is published, where the document is posted in full at the same time. The decision on the proposal of the Grigoriopol City and District Council was made due to the limited number of newspaper pages in regional publications and due to the often voluminous annexes to legal acts.
The law-in-draft on amendments and additions to the Housing Code passed the third final reading. The new amendments protect the rights of children if they lived in public housing under a commercial or social tenancy before the death of a parent or guardian. The law-in-draft was initiated by a group of deputies of the Supreme Council. The consent of the employer will not be needed in order for a minor who has been left without care to be moved in under a social contract of employment by a single parent, guardian or trustee. The deputies adopted today the relevant amendments to the Civil Code of the Pridnestrovian Moldavian Republic in connection with the adjustment of the Housing Code.
