In the course of the current meeting of “The Obnovlenie” (Renewal) parliamentary faction, consideration of significant, and therefore potentially controversial legislations, more than once led to a broader discussion of topics.

An example was the legislative initiative of Ilya Vasilyev, who proposed to make an addition to the current version of the law "On Universal Military Duty and Military Service". The bottom line is the possibility of granting a deferment from military service to assistants to deputies who work on a permanent basis.

He was supported by colleagues, especially those representing the interests of voters living in cities. It was noted that it is very difficult for military registration and enlistment offices to call for camps in rural areas due to significant migration of the population, so they focus on operating enterprises with permanent labor collectives. The problem exists and needs legislative regulation. To this end, Deputy Andrei Mezhinsky is preparing a legislative initiative on this topic. In turn, the Parliament Speaker Alexander Shcherba proposed to initiate a working meeting chaired by the President with the participation of representatives of the defense ministry, in order to discuss this issue with interested parties in a “zero” reading of the law-in-draft.

Noting the significant contribution of the State Customs Committee to raising pensions and public sector wages next year due to a significant increase in the collection of customs duties, members of the faction supported the proposal to adjust the norms of the law on the republican budget for the current year. 6 million rubles of the overplans were received, four will go to eliminate the budget deficit, and two to the development of customs authorities.

Deputies in the course of today's plenary session will have to approve an estimate of the expenses of the Pridnestrovian Republican Bank for the next year. According to the head of the relevant parliamentary committee, Alexander Korshunov, next year the net profit of the central bank is planned at the level of 24.6 million rubles, half of this amount will be directed to the republican budget. At the same time, the wage fund of the central bank employees in the 19th is not planned to be increased.

The reason for the development of the initiative to change the norms of the law “On state support for large families”, which was made by parliamentarian Sergei Cheban, was the appeal of citizens. They complained about the bureaucratic procedure when collecting the certificates necessary to confirm the status of a large family, if its members are stepdaughters and stepchildren. They now have to give up their surname, patronymic, and their biological parent - from the right to participate in the child's life.

In this regard, he proposed when determining whether it is a family with many children or not to take into account children who are relatives of one of the spouses. The amendments to the current legislation adopted by the deputies in the first reading will help to reduce the number of certificates collected when they receive the status of large families for them to receive benefits when paying for utilities. The size for families raising three children is 20%, four - 30%, five or more - 50%. In addition, the rights and interests of the child himself who wishes to maintain contact with the biological parent and his last name will not be violated.

The faction members supported the legislative initiative of their colleagues and voted for its adoption in the second final reading.
