Digital reporting procedure

15.12.2021

The Supreme Council adopted in 2021 amendments to the legislation, according to which, from the 1st of January, 2022, legal entities will have to submit their reports in electronic form.

A number of organizations have encountered difficulties in providing reports in digital format, including due to the lack of computer equipment or the absence of an accountant on the staff. During the discussion of the deputies with the business community and business representatives, entrepreneurs came up with a proposal to submit reports for December not in January, but in February 2022. So that the period, when the New Year holidays are still underway, and it is necessary to carry out some additional activities, was effectively used. Deputies agreed with this proposal. Amendments to the law also concern non-profit organizations.

The Supreme Council supported these legislative initiatives and adopted the law-in-draft with amendments and additions to the law "On the procedure for submitting financial, tax and statistical reports in electronic form through telecommunication channels" in two readings at once.
