The system of dual education, which is being actively implemented in the training of personnel for enterprises, is still not regulated by law, but only at the level of by-laws and regulations of the Ministry of Education and a number of enterprises. The head of the relevant parliamentary committee Mikhail Burla proposed to amend the laws "On Education" and "On the Development of Primary and Secondary Vocational Education" amendments, which will regulate practice-oriented education in Pridnestrovie.
According to him, the adoption of such changes is also important because with their help it will be possible to solve a number of problems that enterprises and educational institutions face when trying to introduce practice-oriented education.
Deputies will consider all comments and suggestions that will come from interested departments and institutions within the framework of the second reading.
The introduction of the system of dual, or practice-oriented, education in Pridnestrovie began in December 2017. It involves the accelerated acquisition of professional knowledge and skills by an employee commissioned directly by enterprises. The training course has a shorter duration and implies 30% of training - theoretical training on the basis of an educational institution, and 70% - practical training on the basis of an enterprise. At the same time, the graduate receives a state certificate and guaranteed employment.
The first project of dual education was implemented by the "Odema"garment factory "Odema" and the Tiraspol College of Business and Service. Then the enterprises "Intercenter Lux", "Softshuz" and "Vestra", MMZ, KVINT, "Electromash", as well as educational institutions: Rybnitsa Polytechnic College, Bendery Trade and Technological College, Dubossary Industrial College joined this practice.
