Help within the circle of possibilities

The next meeting of “The Obnovlenie” parliamentary faction was devoted to discussing a number of legislations that cause certain discussions. Not the first time, in particular, members of the faction are considering a government law-in-draft, which presupposes the mandatory availability of an electronic terminal for traders of economic agents. It provides the consumer with the opportunity to pay for goods (works, services) by using payment cards of at least one payment system of Pridnestrovie.

However, not all members of the faction expressed unequivocal support for this law-in-draft. In particular, the deputy Andrei Safonov considers it in the conditions of economic sanctions against our republic premature and can cause discontent of citizens, especially economic entities, who will be forced to purchase terminals at their own expense. His colleague Vadim Lipsky believes that the norms of the law-in-draft should not apply to individual entrepreneurs. Despite objections, the majority of the faction members supported the adoption of the law-in-draft "On Amendments and Addendum to Certain Legislative Acts of the PMR"

The support of the law-in-draft, which implies a reduction in the tax burden on the garment industry was unequivocal. The coefficient for the operation of enterprises in the industry under the tolling scheme is reduced from 1.7 to 1.3.

Support for members of the faction was found in another measure, not economic, but social. At the suggestion of the government, budgetary expenses for sanatorium-resort treatment of privileged categories of the population, including veterans of the Second World War, participants in the military actions to protect the PMR in the 1992, "Afghans", "Chernobyl victims", etc., will be classified as socially protected articles of the law on republican budget for the current year. We are talking about the amount of 684 thousand rubles. The assignment of these expenses to socially protected budget items will provide an additional guarantee that the funds necessary for the treatment of beneficiaries will be found, according to the parliamentarians of “The Obnovlenie” (Renewal) faction.

In the same series are measures for the social support of citizens, and the most disadvantaged, and legislative fixation of monthly payments to non-working pensioners who receive a pension, the amount of which does not exceed its minimum size (less than 1232 rubles). It is assumed that a surcharge of 100 rubles will receive slightly more than 30 thousand citizens of Pridnestrovie. In connection with this legislative initiative, the timing of the implementation of this legal norm, other possible mechanisms for providing social support to low-income Pridnestrovians, as well as the possibility of raising pensions and salaries for state employees that were discussed.
