The Parliament's Plans for the Near Future

In accordance with the schedule of plenary sessions, the Supreme Council will consider the law-in-draft with amendments and additions to the Criminal Code. A group of deputies of the Committee on Legislation proposed to establish criminal liability for the dissemination of information expressing clear disrespect for the days of military glory and memorable dates of the USSR and PMR associated with the defense of the Fatherland. It is proposed to apply the same measure of responsibility for desecrating the symbols of military glory of the USSR and PMR, insulting the memory of the defenders of the Fatherland, or humiliating the honor and dignity of a veteran of the Great Patriotic War, committed in public.

The deputy corps will consider the law-in-draft with amendments to the law "On acts of civil status" in the first reading at one of the next plenary sessions. The Government proposed by law to consolidate the possibility of electronic request for the necessary information from the databases of civil registration authorities for the provision of public services.

The Supreme Council will consider changes to the Labor Code of the PMR in the final reading. A group of deputies of the Committee on Social Policy proposed in the law to consolidate the grounds for organizing shifts at home for engineering and technical personnel who participate in hemodialysis procedures. Today, only health care workers receive a supplement for home duty.

In accordance with the schedule of work of the parliament in the final reading, the deputies will consider the law-in-draft with amendments and additions to some legislative acts of the PMR.

The law-in-draft is intended to introduce a unified standard of food benefits in schools, preschool and special education institutions, as well as in institutions of primary, secondary and higher vocational education.

The Supreme Council will consider law-in-draft with amendments to the law "On social protection of disabled people" at one of the next plenary sessions in the first reading. It is proposed to consolidate at the legislative level the allocation of state assistance to disabled people who independently rebuilt and adapted housing for their own needs. We are talking about such construction and installation work as the elimination of interior thresholds, installation of handrails, expansion of door and arched openings of entrance, interior and balcony doors.

The next plenary meeting of the Supreme Council is scheduled for October 20. It will be held online due to the difficult epidemiological situation in the republic.
