Deputies will consider the law-in-draft with amendments to the law “On fire safety in the PMR” in the first reading at one of the next plenary sessions. The law-in-draft provides for a deferment from military service for graduates of the Slobodzeya Polytechnic College who want to work in the fire brigade and emergency rescue units.
The Supreme Council in the final reading will consider the draft state target program for preferential crediting of combatants to protect the PMR, who have become disabled of groups I and II. This is a legislative initiative of a group of deputies. The entire program is designed for 6 years. The funds at 17% per annum will be provided by the Pridnestrovian Savings Bank. At the same time, 4% per annum will be paid by the borrower, and 13% per annum will be covered by the funds of the republican budget.
The deputy corps at the next meeting will consider a new provision of the Land Code in the final reading. It will allow construction on land plots leased out for the construction of permanent and temporary structures and structures on public lands in cases stipulated by Article 125-1 of the PMR Land Code. Namely, it is proposed to allow the construction of capital structures and structures, as well as temporary structures and structures without prejudice to the intended purpose of common lands.
Online public hearings. The Government proposed to legislate this form of holding hearings. The deputies at the plenary session will consider amendments to the law "On the foundations of public control in the PMR" in the first reading.
The agenda of the plenary session of the Supreme Council includes law-in-draft that concerns the tax on vehicle owners. The government proposes to exempt organizations from paying such a tax in relation to those cars that are stolen and are on the wanted list. Criminal proceedings are often conducted over a long period of time. The organization is forced to pay tax on vehicle owners for this entire period.
A group of deputies of the Committee on Agro-Industrial Complex Issues came up with a legislative initiative and proposed to prescribe in the law that construction organizations can attract managers and specialists of the relevant profile under civil law contracts to carry out work in the declared field of activity. According to the current law, construction organizations are required to maintain a wide staff of specialists in order to obtain a license for one subspecies of activity. Such requirements are often economically unjustified, since small construction componies cannot employ large staff. These conditions are impracticable due to the lack of qualified personnel in some cases.
The Supreme Council will consider this legislative initiative in the final reading at one of the next plenary sessions. In addition, the deputy corps will have to hear the reports of the heads of the state republican mass media on the results of activities over the past year. The next plenary sessions of the parliament are scheduled for the 2nd and the 9th of June.
