Deputies in the course of the meeting of the Presidium of the Supreme Council approved the agenda for today's plenary meeting. It will also be held in video conference mode. The main issue is maintaining a balanced budget that will allow the state to fulfill all social obligations. A group of parliamentarians initiated amendments to the law on the republican budget and on the budget of the Unified State Social Insurance Fund for this year. The adoption, according to the authors, will reduce the budget deficit by 500 million rubles. Under the current conditions, it is important to pay salaries to state employees, pensions and social benefits in full, according to deputies of the Supreme Council. The Supreme Council will consider today legislations in the first reading.

State support for agriculture is also included to the agenda. Due to the drought, spring frosts and restrictive measures related to the state of emergency in the republic, agricultural producers suffered losses. The area of ​​dead and damaged crops is about 65 thousand hectares of land. The state can provide benefits to such agrarians. All the proposals developed during the meetings of the deputies of the Committee on Agro-Industrial Complex with the Government are presented in the form of amendments. Today, the Supreme Council plans to adopt amendments to the law "On Additional Measures aimed at stabilizing the economy of the PMR" in the second final reading.

Deputies of the Committee on Agriculture initiated amendments to the law “On Fisheries and the Conservation of Aquatic Biological Resources of the PMR”. The authors propose at the legislative level to ban industrial fishing in public water. We are talking about the Kuchurgan and Dubossary reservoirs and the Dniester River. This document will be considered in plenary in two readings.

Today, the deputy corps will adopt the next amendments to the law “On state support during the state of emergency 2020”. They are designed to simplify the procedure for receiving monetary compensation by individual entrepreneurs. It is proposed to prescribe that an individual entrepreneur must submit a statement to the Unified State Social Insurance Fund indicating the data of an identity document. Copies of the passport are not needed.

The plenary meeting today will consider the possibility for business representatives to delay the implementation of orders from regulatory authorities. According to the relevant committee, they can eliminate all existing shortcomings within three months after the end of the state of emergency. The final decision is for the deputies.
