The 15th meeting of the 5th session of the 7th convocation of the Parliament will be held in the meeting room of the Supreme Council of the Pridnestrovian Moldavian Republic on the 7th of June. This decision was made by the Presidium of the Supreme Council today. The Speaker of the Parliament and the heads of the Committees and Commissions considered a number of legislative initiatives and determined which of them will be on the agenda of the next plenary meeting of the deputies. For example, the Committee on Economic Policy, Budget and Finance will present a number of legislative initiatives for consideration by the deputies in the first and second readings. These are amendments to the laws “On the Unified Social Tax and the Unified Insurance Contribution”, “On the Fundamentals of the Tax System”, “On Procurement in the Pridnestrovian Moldavian Republic”, “Special Tax Regime – Patent Taxation System”. The Supreme Council in the second final reading will consider the draft resolution "On approval of the Concept of the budget and tax policy of the Pridnestrovian Moldavian Republic for 2024 and the medium term".
The Committee on Social Policy and Healthcare submitted to the plenary session on June 7 amendments to the Law of the Pridnestrovian Moldavian Republic “On State Support for Young Families in Acquisition of Housing”. The PMR President proposes to expand the categories of recipients of state subsidies for housing. The law-in-draft will be considered in two readings at once.
The deputies will have to adopt a number of legislative initiatives prepared for consideration by the Committee on Agro-Industrial Complex, Industry, Transport, Construction and Natural Resources.
The editors-in-chief of the First Pridnestrovian TV Channel, Radio-1, News of Pridnestrovie news agency, The Pridnestrovie, The Adevarul Nistryan and The Gomin newspapers will report on their activities for 2022 to the Supreme Council of the Pridnestrovian Moldavian Republic, as one of the founders of the state media on June 7.
The Presidium additionally submitted 2 questions at the plenary session of the Supreme Council of the Pridnestrovian Moldavian Republic, which will be held on May 31. One of them is changes to the State Program for the Execution of Voter Orders for 2023, according to which parliamentarians are improving the infrastructure in their constituencies.
